The beach of Capbreton

The south coast of the Landes region abounds in magnificent beaches. What’s the most beautiful beach in the Landes? It’s hard to choose between them, they all rival each other in beauty and charm. Starting with the beaches of Capbreton, just 15 minutes from the campsite. Plage Centrale is the main beach of the Landes resort. It is protected from the swell, making it very popular with families with children. Also worth a mention is Estacade beach, famous for its wooden jetty jutting out into the ocean for almost 200 meters. Between swims, take the opportunity to visit Capbreton, famous for its fishing port, fish market and Gouf. .

The beach of Labenne

Just 15 minutes from Camping Lou P’tit Poun, the charming seaside resort of Labenne-Océan boasts beautiful sunny beaches where you can swim, relax or enjoy your favourite water sports. Bordered by the Landes forest, Labenne beach stretches for three kilometers. It is monitored from mid-June to mid-September.

Tarnos beach

At the southernmost tip of the Landes region, 10 km from the campsite, the Métro beach is a large, pretty and unspoilt beach, with the Basque mountains as a backdrop. There’s also a surf school and a cycle path linking Ondres via the forest to Bayonne. In summer, lifeguards supervise the beach.

Biarritz, the “Queen of beaches, beach of kings”.

The Basque Country is home to some of the finest beaches in Europe. These include Biarritz . So take advantage of your camping vacation near the Basque Country to plant your parasol on the beach of the Côte des Basques, the cradle of French surfing. Surrounded by cliffs, it stretches for almost a kilometer. Just a stone’s throw away, with its palace-turned-palace, Biarritz’s Grande Plage has long since won its spurs among holidaymakers in search of relaxation and rest. In fact, it’s nicknamed the Plage de l’Impératrice! And to top it all off, the beach is supervised in summer.

Anglet beach
